• Quiz answers such as business type, goals, and recommended software
• Source page, browser user agent, country, device type, and anonymous session ID for analytics

Why we collect it

We collect this information to respond to setup and software selection requests, improve our recommendations, understand which pages are useful, and measure basic site performance.

How we use lead information

Lead and quiz information is used to review your business setup, follow up with practical software recommendations, and improve our content. We do not use this information for unrelated marketing lists.

Analytics and third-party tools

We operate our own event analytics in Cloudflare D1 to understand page views, quiz activity, contact submissions, and outbound software clicks. We may also enable third-party analytics such as Google Analytics or Plausible when configured for the site. We do not record full IP addresses in our first-party event system.

We do not sell personal information

Contractor Software Guide does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Requesting deletion or updates

You can contact us through the contact page to request correction or deletion of information you submitted. We will review the request and remove identifiable records where reasonably possible.
